Le cycle secondaire constitue une période essentielle dans la vie des élèves ; et cela au niveau de l’acquisition des savoirs faire et de la construction de sa personnalité.

Notre travail avec les élèves de ce cycle consiste à la validation de leurs acquis, leur préparation à l’obtention d’un diplôme  officiel et leur réussite dans les examens d’entrée aux universités.

Cependant forger la personnalité d’un citoyen tolérant, ouvert aux autres, responsable et portant les valeurs de sa société est pour nous de la même importance que les acquisitions scientifiques. D’après Rabelais : « Science sans conscience n’est que ruine de l’âme ».

L’enseignement des sciences dans notre collège a pour but d’inculquer aux élèves une démarche intellectuelle qui permet d’établir un rapport entre la connaissance du monde et l’exercice de la raison. Pour nous, il n'est pas si important d'apprendre un stock de connaissances que d'enseigner une démarche intellectuelle. Une fois acquise, les connaissances viendront ensuite. Nos élèves, comme nos enseignants, se considèrent comme des chercheurs impliqués activement, spontanément, dans des situations qui soulèvent leurs questions. Dans un tel enseignement, on favorise l'acquisition d'une attitude scientifique faite de curiosité, de créativité, de confiance en soi, de pensée critique, de coopération, ... Sur elle pourra se greffer progressivement la formation de futurs citoyens éveillés.

All of our thoughts processes are conducted in language; and with the quick development of Technology and communication, English is thought to be an international language of the century for communication among peoples of the world. There are a number of reasons why a person would want to learn English, each reason is individual and will provide countless benefits in future communications. As with any type of learning, it is important to find a learning methodology that works best for our students and which is easy to access. With this in mind, there are many amazing English methods that we apply at our school, CSF, which provide a very positive environment for both students and teachers alike. Our ambition at the English department of CSF is to create a basis where the students feel that learning is meaningful and fun at the same time. In order to achieve this ground, we need to be creative to make students interested and engaged in the tasks they do; and in this process we show them that we are learners as well as teachers, we learn how we teach them in an interesting method. We hope our pupils will gain a deeper understanding of why they study and who they are as learners, this is essential for them to become life-long ambitious apprentices in all matters of life. At CSF, we believe that in order to fully educate any person, we must grant him/her the freedom and ambition to learn, create and speak their mind and make mistakes. Guiding the young minds to achieve and meet their potential, which, we as teachers, know that they own; and therefore we aim to create the right environment which allows students to feel comfortable expressing their personal and academic goals and aspirations where they receive the respect of their teachers and classmates as well. In this process, students become socially responsible learners who are open to different cultures and values. “If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.” (Nelson Mandela)

كم في حمى الفصحى وبين كنوزها                      من مشرقات بالبيان فصاح

 

ما أنكرت أمم لسان جدودها                                يوماً وسارت في طريق فلاح

 

نعم أنها اللغة العربية،اللغة التي تعلّمتها بشغف وعلّمتها بعشق،استمرّت قروناًتعبًر عن حاجات العصر ومتطلًباته وكانت رائدة بين اللغات،لكنها بدأت تضعف وتتراجع لأنًها ليست لغة التكنولوجيا وعصرنا اليوم عصره ومع هذا لازال اهتمامنا بها وبتدريسها شغلنا الشاغل،ندرًسها كما نريدها ،لغة متطوًرة،متجدًدة،موحًدة،نتواصل بها مع العالم...والذي يزيدنا أصراراً على التفاعل معها هو تقدًمها عالميًا أكثر منه محلًيا ،فهي اليوم في المرتبة السادسة بين لغات العالم.وكم كانت فرحتي كبيرةً عندما سمعت عدداً من السفراء ووزراء خارجيّة أكثر من دولة أجنبيّة يتكلّمون ويخطبون باللغة العربيّة الفصحى ،فهل بدأت تستعيد أمجادها وبدأ سداد الديون على حدّ قول عباس محمود العقّاد عندما تحدّث عن تداور الحضارات.وهل سننجح يوماً ما بتعزيزها؟ أملنا كبير برد أيجابي،نظراً لاهتمام مدرستنا وأدارتها ودأبنا نحن المعلّمين واعتزازنا بقدرة طلابنا ومساعدة أهليهم على أعادة أحياء هذه اللغة،لغتنا الأم ،لغة الضاد.........
